An unidentified elderly man was killed in a speeding motorcycle collision in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar.
The incident occurred on Monday (9 December) afternoon on the Shamshergar-Moulvibazar road in the upazila.
Police sources said that a young man named Rayek Tanvir, who was going towards Munshibazar with his friend Juman Mia, hit the elderly man while crossing the road in front of the BRAC office in Mokambazar. The elderly man died on the spot.
On receiving the information, a police team led by Shamshernagar Police Outpost In-Charge OC (Investigation) Omar Farooq recovered the body and sent it to the Moulvibazar morgue for autopsy.
