The Srimangal branch of the Legal Aid Center (ASK) Foundation held a rally and discussion meeting on the occasion of International Human Rights Day in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.

On Tuesday (December 10), a rally was taken out from the ASK Foundation office and paraded through various streets of the city.

Later, teachers, journalists, development workers and people from different professions participated in the discussion meeting chaired by ASK Foundation President Mosaddik Ahmed and moderated by former Joint Secretary Iqbal Hossain Bhuiyan.

The meeting was attended by ASK Foundation Vice President Golam Rahman Mamun, Md. Sirajul Islam, General Secretary Md. Amzad Hossain Bachchu.

Among others, teacher and journalist Jhalak Dutta, teacher Abul Kashem, journalist Golam Kibria Jewel were present.

Also present were ASK Foundation Joint General Secretary Lutful Haque Lokman, Md. Saleh Ahmed, Organizing Secretary Muhibur Rahman Jewel, Finance Secretary Md. Amjad Hossain, Office Secretary Muhammad Abdus Sobhan, Social Welfare Secretary Md. Shahin Mia, Religious Affairs Secretary Hafez Golam Mostafa, former members Ajay Singh, Ebadur Rahman Lulu and other members.

Foundation President Musaddik Ahmed and General Secretary Md. Amjad Hossain Bachchu were honored by the organization for their special contributions to the protection of human rights and the welfare of the people.
