Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Sher Mahbub Murad said that everyone must work together to ensure that the people are given priority in any problem. If the people are well, Biswanath will be well, Sylhet will be well, Bangladesh will be well. Therefore, everyone must work together for the welfare of the people.

He said these things at a meeting held with officials of various departments of the upazila, public representatives, journalists, political leaders and the public on Tuesday (December 10) afternoon in Biswanath, Sylhet.

At the meeting held at the Upazila Parishad conference room, the speakers highlighted various problems of the upazila. Then, the Deputy Commissioner discussed the solutions to each problem, including the Basia River being free from encroachers, the manpower crisis in various departments including the Upazila Health Complex, simplification in birth registration correction, rapid road renovation, resolution of complications in educational institutions, resolution of traffic congestion in the municipality, and the deterioration of the overall law and order situation in the Upazila.

Before joining the discussion meeting, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Sher Mahbub Murad inaugurated the ‘Fair Price Shop’ at the Dhan Hata in the new market of the municipality under the management of the Bishwanath Municipality and the supervision of the Upazila administration.
