The 60th Annual General Meeting and Diamond Jubilee of the Bangladesh Tea Estate Staff Association (BTESA), an organization of officials and employees working in tea gardens, has been held.
On Sunday (December 29), at 11 am at the College Road Shishu Udyan ground in Srimangal, Bangladesh Nationalist Workers’ Party Central Executive Committee President Md. Anwar Hossain was present as the chief guest.
Under the chairmanship of BTESA Senior Vice President Sheikh Kawsar Mia and moderated by BTESA General Secretary Md. Aminur Rahman, the program was inaugurated by Bangladesh Nationalist Workers’ Party Central Executive Committee General Secretary Nurul Islam Khan (Nasim). Md. Surman Ali, Manjurul Islam Manju, Pulak Ranjan Dhar, Saki Rizwana and others were present as special guests in the meeting.
Leaders of organizations from the country’s districts and valleys spoke at the event. At the end of the meeting, crests, certificates and cash were distributed to the children of the T staff who had achieved GPA 5 in 2023.
