A worker rally of the 7th Ward West Balipara branch of the 5th Fatehpur Union BNP of Jaintapur Upazila of Sylhet has been held.
This worker rally was held at the Hazrat Shah Ahmed Ali (Rahmatullah Alaihi) Balipara Auditorium in Haripur Bazar at around 8 pm on Sunday (January 19).
Under the chairmanship of Rafiq Ahmed, President of the 7th Ward West Balipara branch of the 5th Fatehpur Union BNP and under the direction of Shah Mohammad Kibri, Convener of Hazrat Shahjalal Rahmatullah Alaihi Degree College Chhatra Dal, former General Secretary of Jaintapur Upazila BNP and former Vice Chairman of the Upazila Parishad, Mohibul Haque Muhib, delivered the speech as the chief guest.
Present as special guests and delivering speeches were Abdul Haque Member, President of Fatehpur Union BNP No. 5, Senior Vice President Alhaj Abdul Hamin, Organizing Secretary Abdul Hamid, Upazila BNP’s Expatriate Welfare Affairs Secretary Tariqul Islam, leaders and prominent clerics Nurul Islam (Kalai), Komai Mia, Yusuf Ali, Md. Kala Mia, Rashid Ahmed, former joint convener of Upazila Jubo Dal Jalal Uddin, among others.

At this time, veteran politician and former organizing secretary of the nationalist party BNP No. 5 Fatepur Union branch and U/P member Abdur Rakib wished for his recovery as he has been ill for a long time. The speakers called for working together to strengthen the hand of BNP acting chairperson Tarique Rahman.
