After receiving the news, a unit of the Shayestaganj Fire Service brought the fire under control with the help of locals. The fire broke out in the chicken market area of ​​Daudnagar Bazar in the Shayestaganj municipal area at midnight last Thursday.

Locals said that the fire suddenly started from the lap mattress shop of a person named Maksud Ali in that area. Later, it spread to the roof within a moment. At this time, the flames of the fire spread panic among the locals. After that, one by one, a house, 3 more business establishments, and several chickens were burnt to ashes. After receiving the news, the Shayestaganj Fire Service brought the fire under control with the help of locals. Although locals have alleged that 4 establishments have burnt down due to the delay of the fire service.

In this regard, Md. Ataur Rahman Masuk, General Secretary of Shayestaganj Daudnagar Bazar Committee, said – 4 establishments have been burnt to ashes in the fire incident. If they are helped by the upazila administration, they will benefit. However, the origin of the fire is not known.

Shayestaganj Fire Service Station Officer Ariful Islam told The Daily Morning Sun – The origin of the fire will be known after the investigation. Initially, it is estimated that the fire caused damage of several lakhs of taka.
