The monthly meeting of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila Law and Order Committee was held.

On Monday (February 10) morning, the law and order meeting was chaired by Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Taj Uddin, and was attended by Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Sanjida Akhter, Upazila Health Officer Barnali Das, Officer-in-Charge of Moulvibazar Model Police Station Md. Mahbubur Rahman, District BNP Convening Committee Member Md. Fakhrul Islam, Bangladesh Jamaat Islami Sadar Upazila Amir Md. Fakhrul Islam, Nayeb Amir Engineer Zahirul Islam Zakir, Upazila Social Service Officer Sumon Debnath, Fire Service Station Officer Jishu Talukder, Journalist Md. Mahbubur Rahman Rahel, Acting Chairman of Ekatuna Union Parishad Syed Ruman Ali, Imam Shah Alam, among others.

The UNO in his speech mentioned that the administration is active in controlling law and order. The OC in his reply said that the police operation is continuing to control the law and order situation in the upazila and cases are being filed every month regarding drugs and theft. Stating that it is not possible for the police alone to control law and order, the OC sought everyone’s awareness and cooperation from their respective positions. The chairman, acting chairman and dignitaries of various union councils were present in the meeting.
