The Moulvibazar District Police Monthly Welfare Meeting and Award Distribution Ceremony for the Best Selected Officers have been held.
On Tuesday (February 11) at 9 am, the monthly welfare meeting was held at the Moulvibazar Police Lines Drill Shed under the chairmanship of Police Superintendent of Police Unit H Jahangir Hossain PPM Seba.
In the meeting organized by Additional Police (Crime and Ops) Mr. Md. Shamsul Haque, the Police Superintendent listened to the problems and difficulties of officers of various ranks and forces and assured to take appropriate measures to resolve them.
At this time, the Police Superintendent delivered various directional speeches. Md., son of ASI Maidul Islam working in DSB, Naeem Islam was awarded a crest of honor by the district police for qualifying for admission to Sir Salimullah Medical College in the 2024/25 academic year and Mosha Nahida Akhter, daughter of District Detective Branch SI Abu Naiyum Mia, was awarded a crest of honor by the district police for qualifying for admission to Medical College.
The Superintendent of Police handed over the crests and letters of honor to the awardees in various categories in the performance evaluation for the month of January 2025.
The awardees are – Best Police Station and Officer-in-Charge Md. Aminul Islam, Best Case Investigating Officer Abdul Alim, SI (Retd) Kulaura Police Station.
Best Sergeant Sajid Ahmed Mukhles, Sergeant, Sadar Traffic, Moulvibazar. Best Detective Officer HM Mahmudur Rahman, SI (Retd), District Detective Branch, Moulvibazar.
Best Accused Arrester Abdur Rouf, SI (Retd), Barolekha Police Station, Moulvibazar. Best Warrant Tamiling Officer: Mr. Anwar Hossain, ASI (Retd), Srimangal Police Station.
Special Award – The District Detective Branch (DB) received a special award for its overall performance in maintaining law and order in the month of January.
Also present were Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Ajmal Hossain, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Srimangal Circle) Anisur Rahman, in-charges of all police stations and units of the district and other officers and employees.
