A spring festival has been organized in Srimangal, Moulvibazar to welcome the spring festival.

On Thursday (February 13), on the first day of the spring festival, the first Falgun, the spring festival was organized jointly by the Srimangal Upazila Administration and the Municipal Administration at the Zilla Parishad Auditorium ground.

Along with the spring procession and flower garlands, dance and songs were organized as part of the spring festival. Various women entrepreneurs prepared bahari and delicious pithapuli.

In the morning, the spring festival was inaugurated by Srimangal Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Islam Uddin. Also present at the event were Upazila Parishad Chief Engineer Yusuf Hossain Khan, Municipality Executive Engineer Zahirul Islam, Upazila Administrative Officer Mrinal Kanti, Project Officer Mohammad Asaduzzaman, Sreemangal Press Club Acting President Abul Fazal Abdul Hai Don, Joint Secretary Syed Abujafar Salauddin, Senior Members Kawsar Iqbal, Ismail Mahmud, Jhalak Dutta, MA Rakib, Rubel Ahmed and others.

The spring festival will continue till 10 pm with various cultural events.
