A day-long training titled ‘Stakeholder Engagement in Inclusive Sanitation System Development in the City’ was organized in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.
The training was organized and managed by MAC Bangladesh at 10 am yesterday, Wednesday, at the conference hall of Srimangal Municipality Auditorium. MAC Bangladesh Executive Director SA Hamid presided over it.
Upazila Executive Officer Md. Islam Uddin was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the training. Srimangal Municipality Executive Engineer Md. Zahirul Islam, Public Health Engineer Md. Saiful Islam and others were special guests.
MAC Bangladesh Coordinator Md. Arman Khan presented a power point presentation on the project through a multimedia projector at the training.
Sanjay Mukherjee, Social Development Expert of the Department of Public Health Engineering, and Joseph Halder, Advocacy and Communication Director of SKS Foundation, were present as resource persons in the training.
30 representatives, including NGO representatives, tea workers representatives, teachers, journalists, women leaders, and municipality representatives, participated in the training.
