The body of a young man has been recovered in Fenchuganj upazila of Sylhet district. The body of the deceased was recovered from in front of the house of Khaliq Mia, a neighbor of Islampur village, on Saturday (February 22) morning.
The deceased young man is Sabbir Ahmed (25), son of Lilu Mia of Islampur village.
UP member Sumon Ahmed said that locals saw Sabbir’s body lying in front of his neighbor Khaliq Mia’s house this Saturday morning.
Later, he was rescued and taken to Fenchuganj Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty there declared Sabbir dead.
Confirming the truth of this matter, the doctor of the health complex, Dr. Parag Roy, said that there are marks of hanging on the neck of the body.
In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fenchuganj Police Station Md. Moniruzzaman Khan said, we came to the hospital after receiving the news. We will inform you later after investigating the details.
