Another case has been filed in the Sylhet court today (August 27). After the departure of Sheikh Hasina from the country on August 5, the case was filed by the victim’s father Abdun Noor Bilal (65) in Sylhet Judicial Magistrate 1st Court in the case of Suman Mia (20) who was killed in a procession in front of the Sonarhat BGB camp in Maturtal Bazar area of ​​Goainghat, Sylhet. He is a resident of Fenaikona village in Mathurtal Bazar area of ​​Gwaighat. Former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has been made the main accused in the case.

Some of the notable accused are- former bridge minister and general secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader, former MP of Sylhet-4 constituency and former expatriate welfare minister Imran Ahmed, head of special branch of district police Imam Uddin Sadek and Goainghat police station OC Rafiqul Islam at the time of the incident. Besides, some BGB members have been accused in the case.

The court has ordered the concerned police station to file an FIR after considering the application of the case. The plaintiff’s lawyer confirmed the truth. Khorshed Alam.
