Four people have been arrested for holding a flash procession of banned organization Chhatra League in Sylhet. Police are trying to identify and arrest the rest.
On Wednesday (March 2) morning, the banned organization Chhatra League took out a flash procession in the city’s Dhopadighipar area. During this, they carried a banner with the photo of former Awami League Central Organizing Secretary Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel and raised slogans in his name. Later, a video of it went viral on social media. In addition, this procession of a group of 15/20 people was also uploaded on the verified page of Awami League.
SMP Police Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media) Mohammad Saiful Islam confirmed the truth of this matter. He said that efforts are being made to identify and arrest them. 4 people have already been arrested. The operation to arrest the rest is continuing.
