The police have found the hanging body of Lucky Begum (25), a mother of 4, in Golapganj, Sylhet. She is the wife of Abdur Rashid of Fultali Ehlashah village in Zakiganj upazila. She was currently living as a tenant in a colony in Hetimganj Mollagram, Fulbari Union, Golapganj.
Golapganj Police Station recovered her body from the colony around 1 pm on Saturday (May 3).
Golapganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moniruzzaman Molya confirmed the matter and said that Lucky Begum’s body was found hanging from a steel pipe inside the house. It is initially believed that she committed suicide. The body has been prepared and sent to Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
