National Democratic Party JAGPA Sylhet Metropolitan General Secretary and Vice President of the Metropolitan Hawkers Oikya Parishad Md. Shahjahan Ahmed has been congratulated by the leaders of Sylhet Metropolitan JAGPA on being elected as the Information and Technology Affairs Secretary of the party’s Central Executive Committee. In addition, the leaders expressed their gratitude and thanks to JAGPA President Barrister Tasmia Pradhan, Vice President and Party Spokesperson Rashed Pradhan, and Organizing Secretary and Sylhet Metropolitan President Shahjahan Ahmed Liton.

On Saturday (May 10), Sylhet Metropolitan JAGPA Vice President Aminur Rahman Liton, Md. Peer Hossain, Co-General Secretary Mahin Ahmed Mahi, Organizing Secretary Expatriate Habibur Rahman Habib, Metropolitan JAGPA Leaders Nurul Islam and Shahiduzzaman Alo said in a statement, “We hope that JAGPA, founded in 1980 by the oppressed people’s leader late Shafiul Alam Pradhan, will become more well-organized and stronger in the future and will continue to work for the welfare of the country and the nation by raising the voice of democratic movement and people’s rights.”

In a letter signed by party spokesperson Rashed Pradhan, leaders and activists of all levels of Sylhet are happy and excited that honest, fearless and idealistic person Md. Shahjahan Ahmed was recently given the post of Information and Technology Affairs Secretary of the Central Executive Committee. We are hopeful that Md. Shahjahan Ahmed will fulfill this important responsibility with great dedication.
