A view exchange meeting of the newly formed Shahparan Thana Volunteers’ Party with the leaders of Wards 21 and 22 of the Sylhet Metropolitan Shahparan Thana Volunteers’ Party was held.

Nurul Haque Masum, convener of Shahparan Thana Volunteers’ Party, delivered the chief guest speech in the suburban area of ​​the city on Tuesday (May 20) night.

Under the chairmanship of Shahparan Thana Volunteers’ Party Joint Convener Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury Saju, and under the joint management of Joint Convener Hasib Ahmed and Member Mohammad Ali Zakaria, Thana Volunteers’ Party Member Secretary Suleman Khan delivered the welcome speech at the meeting.

The special guests were Abdus Salam Azad, Senior Joint Convener of Thana Volunteers, Sekul Islam Chowdhury, Rupa Mia, Md. Fazlu Mia, Syed Nazrul Islam Liton, Md. Golam Kibria Raju, members Sumon Uddin Chowdhury, Md. At the beginning of the meeting, Abdul Jabbar, former religious affairs secretary of ward no. 21, recited from the Holy Quran.

The meeting was addressed by Rashed Ahmed, leader of Ward No. 21 Volunteer Party, Jabed Ahmed, former member of Ward No. 21 Volunteer Party, Raihan, former member of Ward No. 21 Volunteer Party, Maruf Ahmed Anik, former member secretary of Ward No. 22 Volunteer Party, Sarwar Ahmed, former member of Ward No. 22 Volunteer Party, and others.

The speakers at the meeting said that the fascist Awami government has looted the country’s resources and created mountains of wealth abroad. The people of the country were deprived of their rights. Now they want to form a people’s government by exercising their voting rights. The speakers said that the national elections must be held by next December. If there is any conspiracy regarding the elections, the people of the country will be forced to take to the streets again to demand their rights. The speakers called on the leaders and activists to work unitedly in any movement in the future.
