Police have recovered the body of a housewife named Fauzia Begum (28) with a veil around her neck in Dungria village of Joykals Union in Shantiganj upazila of Sunamganj district.
The body of the housewife was recovered from her husband’s house in Dungria village on Sunday (May 25) morning. The deceased housewife is the wife of Faiz Ahmed of Dungria village.
Police sources said that on Sunday morning at around 7 am, it was reported that housewife Fauzia Begum had committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her house. After receiving the information, PSI Mamunur Rashid of the police station along with the Sangyi Force visited the scene and prepared a post-mortem report of the body.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shantiganj Police Station Md. Akram Ali confirmed the incident.
