A nursery businessman was killed in a road accident in Kulaura, Moulvibazar. The deceased nursery businessman is Ashiqur Rahman Ashiq, owner of Eagle Nursery in Shamsernagar, Kamalganj Upazila.
On Sunday (July 20) morning, when a pickup truck carrying fish from Shamsernagar in Kamalganj reached the Dakshin Hingaziya area of Brahmanbazar Union in Kulaura Upazila, the accident occurred when the pickup truck hit a tree on the side of the road.
Upon receiving the information, the Kulaura Fire Service team rescued Ashiq and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kulaura Police Station Md. Omar Faruk confirmed the accident and said that the body has been recovered and sent to the morgue for autopsy.
