BNP candidate for Sylhet-01 (Metropolitan and Sadar) constituency and advisor to the party chairman, Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, today (January 23) offered Jumma prayers at Baitun Najat Jame Mosque in E Block of Shahjalal Sub-city of the city and exchanged greetings with the Muslims. Later, he started his election campaign through mass contact with the people present.

At this time, Khandaker Muktadir said, “Establishing an all-round developed Sylhet is the main goal of my politics. We want to develop Sylhet as a modern city suitable for the common people to live in. Besides, we want to transform Sylhet Sadar Upazila into a model Upazila of Bangladesh.” The main goal of my future activities is to provide Sylhet-1 constituency suitable for the common people, including eliminating waterlogging in the city, stopping all kinds of terrorism, drugs and anti-social activities.
Khandaker Muktadir also said that people across the country are eagerly waiting for the worthy leadership of the future statesman Tarique Rahman. Insha Allah, a welfare-oriented government will be established in the country by making the rice paddy a winner in the next election.
