A passenger died on the spot after being hit by a bus on a brother-in-law’s motorcycle in Sylhet. The other person was rescued and sent to the hospital by the locals.
The incident took place on Tuesday (September 3) around 5:30 pm at Mominkhala in South Surma area.
The deceased is Nipendra Das (60) of Chanpur village of Balaganj Sadar Union. The injured person, Mintu Das, is said to be the brother-in-law of the deceased. Both of them are brother-in-law.
It is known that Nipendra Das and Mintu were motorcycle riders. A Shyamoli bus hit the motorcycle in front of South Surma CNG and Petrol filling station in Mominkhala area. Nipendra Das died on the spot. Mintu Dash was injured. After receiving the information, the police inspected the spot.
