Jagannathpur (Sunamganj) Representative //
The police recovered the melted body of an unidentified person from Chandihar Kheyaghat area of Kamarkhali river in Kalkalia union of Jagannathpur upazila of Sunamganj district. The body of the person was recovered on Tuesday (September 3) night.
The body of the deceased has been sent to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy on Wednesday (September 4).
Jagannathpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azizur Rahman confirmed this. He said the age of the unidentified person is estimated to be 30-35 years. Efforts are underway to identify him. The body was sent to the morgue after collecting evidence through a group of expert representatives from Sylhet PBI on Wednesday.
