Police have recovered the body of a man from the premises of the Bangladesh Betar (Radio) Center in Sylhet, located under the jurisdiction of the Kotwali Police Station in Sylhet Metropolitan City. The body was recovered around 9:00 PM on Tuesday (September 22).
The deceased has been identified as Md. Delwar (45), a resident of the Munshipara area in Sylhet city.
Police stated that locals alerted them after spotting a body lying against a wall inside the radio complex on Tuesday. Subsequently, police arrived at the scene and initiated the recovery process.
Regarding the incident, Mohammad Mainul Zakir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sylhet Kotwali Police Station, said that locals informed the police after seeing the body inside the complex. Police are currently at the scene to recover the body, and the family of the deceased has been notified. Preparations are underway to send the body to the morgue at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
