Police have recovered the body of an unidentified youth (25) from Sylhet Railway Station. However, the police could not identify him.
The body of the deceased was recovered from the public toilet of the railway station at around 4 pm today, Saturday, March 1.
It is learnt that locals saw the body of the deceased lying on Saturday and informed the Railway Police. Later, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and after preparing the post-mortem report, sent it to the Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue.
SI Md. Mehedi Hasan Khan of Sylhet Railway Sadar Police Station confirmed the truth of this matter to The Daily Morning Sun. He said that no injury marks were seen on the body of the deceased. However, the cause of death will be known once the autopsy report is received. At this time, he sought cooperation in identifying the body.
