8 surgeons and doctors from different departments of MAG Osmani Hospital in Sylhet have been transferred. This information was confirmed in a circular signed by Brigadier General Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan, director of the hospital on Thursday (August 29). Among them, five have been kept in other hospitals and three in Osmani.

The transferees are – hospital registrar Dr. Prashant Sarkar and Dr. Nurul Islam in Sylhet Infectious Disease Hospital, Acting Resident Surgeon (General) Dr. Md. Adnan Chowdhury in Sylhet Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmad Hospital, Dr. Registrar of Surgery Department. Dr. Prasen Kairi, Resident Surgeon (General), Resident Surgeon (Orthopedic and Traumatology) of the same hospital. Dr. Faisal Ahmad Muhin, Registrar of Orthopedic and Traumatology Department, Sylhet Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmad Hospital. Md. Tawfiq Alam Siddiqui, Acting Resident Surgeon (General), Acting Resident Surgeon (Working in Gynecology Unit-3) Dr. Ruli Begum Sylhet Infectious Disease Hospital and Indoor Medical Officer Dr. Manas Kanti Singh has been made the acting emergency officer of the hospital.
