A meeting was held between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and media workers in Srimangal, Moulvibazar, on the mutual cooperation between the media and BGB.
The meeting, organized at the Darbar Hall of 46 BGB in Srimangal Upazila of the district at 4 pm on Monday, was addressed by BGB Srimangal Battalion Commander Lt. Col. ASM Zakaria, 46 BGB Deputy Commander Major Ishtiaq Morshed, Assistant Director Mohammad Jamal Hossain and others.
Journalists from print and electronic media of Moulvibazar district were present at the meeting.
The BGB commander said at the meeting that BGB patrols on the long border of Moulvibazar have been increased much more than before. BGB is working to suppress border crimes including any infiltration or smuggling.
