56 initially selected for constable posts in Moulvibazar

56 candidates from Moulvibazar district have been initially selected for the post of Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) of Bangladesh Police in Moulvibazar.

Yesterday, Wednesday (December 4) night, the names of the 56 initially selected people were announced by the President of the Recruitment Board and the Superintendent of Police of Moulvibazar District, M, K, H, Jahangir Hossain -PPM, at the Moulvibazar Police Lines Drill Shed.

Out of the 56 selected people, 1 person is in the tribal quota and 55 are in the general quota. In addition, 6 people have been kept as waiting. The President of the Recruitment Board and the Superintendent of Police, M, K, H, Jahangir Hossain PPM, thanked the people of Moulvibazar for not lobbying or recommending any kind of recruitment for this purpose. He congratulated the initially selected people and urged them to work honestly and efficiently in their future careers.
He said, ‘The transparency and impartiality with which your recruitment process was completed, I hope that you will also provide services to the general public with the same honesty, impartiality and professionalism free from corruption. A total of 1,502 candidates from Moulvibazar district applied online for this recruitment. After the physical fitness verification in three stages, 475 candidates participated in the written examination on November 27, 2024.

91 candidates who passed the written examination participated in the oral examination on Wednesday (December 4).

It is to be noted that out of the 1,502 candidates who applied online, 1,219 candidates appeared on the day of physical fitness and document verification in the first stage of the recruitment process on November 4. From there, 820 people were selected for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) in the second stage of the primary selection. Then, 682 candidates were selected for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) on November 5 and 475 candidates were selected for the written test on November 6 in the third stage.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sudarshan Kumar Roy (promoted to the post of Police Superintendent), Additional Superintendent of Police Zakir Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police Shah Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Shamsul Haque, guardians of the candidates and police officers and employees responsible for various aspects of the recruitment process were also present during the announcement of the results.
