A beat policing meeting has been organized by the Srimangal Police Station in Moulvibazar to maintain law and order.
On Thursday (February 13), the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Srimangal Police Station Md. Aminul Islam was present as the chief guest at the beat policing meeting at the Srimangal Sadar Union Parishad conference room.
At the time, Officer-in-Charge Aminul Islam sought the cooperation of local citizens including public representatives to eradicate drugs, theft, prevent child marriage, eve-teasing, violence against women, prevent various crimes and maintain the law and order situation.
The meeting was chaired by Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Md. Dudu Mia, and Beat Officer SI Md. Mohibur Rahman, ASI Md. Nazrul Islam, among others, also spoke at the meeting. In addition, members of various wards of the Union Parishad, teachers of various educational institutions and local dignitaries were present.
