The District Law and Order Committee meeting was held in Moulvibazar.
The meeting was held on Sunday (March 9) morning at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Room under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Israel Hossain.
In the law and order meeting, various issues including market control, raids on cloth shops ahead of Eid, various steps to keep the city free from traffic congestion were discussed and important steps were taken.
The meeting, moderated by Additional District Magistrate Tanvir Hossain, was attended by District Police Superintendent M Jahangir Hossain PPM (Service), Major Mehedi Hasan of the Army in charge of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila, Major Tunjira in charge of Kulaura, Juri and Baralekha Upazilas.
In addition, all officials of the district including various Upazila Nirbahi Officers of the district, political figures, journalists and others were present.
