The results of HSC and equivalent examinations 2024 held under 11 education boards of the country will be declared on Tuesday (October 15). This time, instead of the Prime Minister, the chairmen of the education boards will announce the results of their respective boards.
Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that all the education boards of the country will announce the results simultaneously at 11 am on Tuesday. Among them, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee consisting of 9 General Education Boards and Madrasa and Technical Boards of the country is ready to release the results.
Professor Tapan Kumar also said that unlike the previous years, instead of announcing the results through the Prime Minister, the boards will publish the results on their own initiative. Results will be available on the website and in educational institutions at 11 am.
A total of 14 lakh 50 thousand 790 students participated in the HSC and equivalent exams this year. Among them, the number of examinees under 9 general education boards is 11 lakh 28 thousand 281. 88 thousand 76 students participated in Madrasa Board Alim exam, and 2 lakh 34 thousand 433 candidates under Technical Board.
In the past, a summary of the results was given to the Prime Minister’s office and the Prime Minister announced it. Then the Education Minister would give the details of the results. However, this time the interim government has changed the process and given the board the responsibility of publishing the results directly.
