A exchange of views was held in Srimangal, Moulvibazar, with the aim of increasing the cultivation of Aman rice in the current season and increasing the cultivation of crops including oil, corn, wheat in the next Rabi season and developing integrated agricultural work.

On Wednesday (July 23) afternoon, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Alauddin was present as the chief guest at the exchange of views meeting in Ayub Market area of Ashidron Union.

The meeting was organized by Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Ujjwal Sutradhar and with the overall support of Haji Eshak Mia Khajera Begum Model School Headmaster Md. Altafur Rahman, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Md. Masukur Rahman, Roni Deb Roy, Subrata Pal, Md. Selim Hossain, Samarjit Singh, etc.

Md. Joynal Abedin, Faruk Mia, Abdul Jalil Mia, etc., spoke among the farmers in the meeting. In their speeches, the farmers highlighted their various problems and possibilities.
Agriculture Officer Alauddin said, we help farmers in various ways. We provide training, advice and technical assistance to farmers at the field level, which we do to increase crop production and improve agricultural management. In addition, farmers are helped in obtaining various government facilities related to agriculture such as fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, etc. For any of your needs, come to the Agriculture Office.
