A young man named Sadik Ahmed (20) was killed after his motorcycle collided with a cow on the road in Barlekha, Moulvibazar. The accident occurred on Monday afternoon (September 21) in the Talimpur area along the Barlekha-Chandgram regional road.

The deceased, Sadik, was the son of Abdul Basit—an expatriate living in Qatar—from the Kaitabanda area of ​​East Sujaul village in the upazila’s Dakshin Shahbazpur Union.

According to local sources, Sadik was traveling by motorcycle to attend a wedding ceremony at his sister’s house in Talimpur village on Monday. En route, his motorcycle suddenly collided with a cow on the road. He was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. The cow also died in the incident. Upon receiving the news, police arrived at the site, prepared an inquest report, and recovered the body.

Obaidul Haque, Police Inspector (Investigation) of Barlekha Police Station, stated that a young man had died following a collision between his motorcycle and a cow on the road. Police recovered the body after arriving at the scene.
