US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States is currently stronger than ever before. Regarding Iran, he mentioned the possibility of reaching an agreement with the country following the US midterm elections.

Trump made these remarks on Tuesday (September 22) while addressing the United Nations General Assembly in New York. He began his speech by welcoming the representatives present at the UN and praising the restored strength of the United States. Trump asserted that the US is stronger today than at any point in the past.

Trump said, “America has bounced back, and our country is stronger today than ever before.”

The US President asked, “Will there be a deal with Iran that helps them recover and build a better nation than before, or will I completely crush the Islamic Republic?”

He added, “Will I push them into a hell from which there is no chance of recovery? However, I believe we will reach an agreement right after the election, because not doing so would be far from wise.”

Trump noted that Iran is waiting for the results of the upcoming midterm elections in November. He said, “What they fail to realize is that I am not running in this election.” He further stated that he had already won the US presidential election by a landslide margin.
