No evidence of sabotage was found in the fire incident in the Secretariat. The fire broke out due to loose electrical connection. This information has been given in the initial report of the high-level investigation committee formed into the fire incident.
At a press briefing held in front of the State Guest House Jamuna on Tuesday evening, BUET Professor Dr. Maksud Helali, one of the members of the investigation committee, gave this information.
He said that the initial investigation report has been submitted to the chief advisor. He had a detailed discussion with him about the report of the initial investigation committee for about an hour. The chief advisor gave the necessary directions to the expert team in different languages after knowing the details in different languages.
